Russia and Vietnam strengthen cooperation in education

The nearest major event will take place on December 1 - the fourth meeting of the Russian-Vietnamese Commission on Cooperation in Education, Science and Technology.

In cooperation with Vietnam, a number of scientific and educational events will be held for this date, including a two-day International Conference "Modern Strategies in Learning and Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language".

Another promising topic is student exchange. In the 2022/23 academic year, more than 3.1 thousand citizens from Vietnam studied in Russian universities, of which more than 2.3 thousand - within the quotas of the Government of the Russian Federation and training of engineering personnel.

The cooperation was discussed in Hanoi within the framework of the 2nd meeting of the Interparliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the State Duma of the Russian Federation and the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The work of the Commission was headed by Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma, and Vyong Dinh Hue, Chairman of the National Assembly.
